| Yeah, its Monday. I had a pretty good weekend. Nothing too major to update about. Chuck and I bought a NICE 32" flatscreen TV last night that now hangs on our wall in the living room. It's awesome! We bought a DVD player to go with it, too. That way we can watch movies in bed or on the couch. Fun times.
My goal for this evening is to take pics of the apartment. I've been holding off b/c it seems like when we get things straightened out and neat looking... we come along and mess it up within a day. haha, so I'm just taking the pictures, messy or not, tonight to post on here. My parents are dying to see the place, too... so I have to take them tonight to e-mail to them ASAP!
Our new reporter started today! She's so excited about working here and really nice and fun so far! I'm very excited she's here. I know Graham is, too, at least now he won't have ot run his ass off all week trying to get stories... both of them can do that now! :o)
Like I said, things are pretty quiet around here. Nothing major to report. I'm going to the bank in a few to sign some papers for the checking account that Chuck and I opened together (exciting!). That's about it!

| Well, we didn't make deadline again this week, BUT we're getting closer. I think once we get this new system figured out everything is going to be okay. It'll just take some time. Hopefully next week we can make it!
Nothing else major is going on. Still getting the house put together. I think... hopefully... we're going to buy a washer and dryer today! yay!!! Now, we can do our laundry at home... WOOHOO. We found a set for really cheap over in Theodore. I think its at one of those liquidation outlets or something. I don't know, Chuck found it and said they look pretty good and everything... so hopefully they'll work well. I trust him.
Going to play pool tonight. I'm excited b/c we actually get to ride together to Mobile and home this week! Usually we have to drive separately b/c of where we used to live and stuff... but not now! yay!!
I don't guess anything else is really going on right now!

| We actually moved on Saturday. Everything we own is in our apartment and we are actually living back in civilization... YAY! :o)
Our apartment totally kicks ass, too. It's so huge and spacious and just awesome! When we get it all put together, I'll takes some pics to post. Yay for new house!
The Mardi Gras ball I went to Friday was fun! It's kinda like a college party, except you have to dress up. But, I still had a good time. Then yesterday we went to Joe Cain in Mobile. Had a great time there, too. Watched about four parades roll by, caught a bunch of beads and cups and stuffed animals. Drank some beer, ate some food on a stick and just generally had a good time. Oh, and I peed in a parking lot. Sad, but true. Apparently you have to pay for the portapotties down there and its like $5 a use. So, we all just said fuck it and peed next to the truck. I only went once though... it was embarassing enough the first time. THe next time I had to go, we just went home. :o)
But, it was fun. In the spirit of Fat Tuesday I'm changing my colors to Mardi Gras colors until Wed. at least. I've decided that anyone who wants to... and can get a chance, needs to come down here and experience Mardi Gras first hand. It's good times.

| I've got so much shit to do this weekend it seems like! Tonight Chuck and I are going to a Mardi Gras ball in Daphne! I'm excited, its my first one. I'm sure it'll be fun times.
I have this BEAUTIFUL gown I'm wearing. It's one of Katie's and its green and purple and awesome. It makes me look skinny. I'm going to Katie's at like 3 so she can help me with my hair... I hate doing my own hair... it never works. So, hopefully she can work some magic on it so I don't look weird.
Then tomorrow... WE'RE MOVING!!!!! :o))) Yippeee!!! I dont' have ot work tomorrow now, so I'm getting up as early as possible and finishing up the packing and then starting to haul stuff down to Spanish Fort!!! Chuck's gotta work tomororw, but hopefully not for long so him and Yancey can get to hauling the big stuff.
Then, Sunday we're going to this big all-day long party in Mobile that's always the Sunday before Mardi Gras. Should be fun times. I'm excited. Katie and Bryan are going with us (yay!) and I'm sure we'll have a blast. What could be better than a big Mardi Gras party all day? Although, I'm sure Chuck and I will want to get home at a semi-decent time so we can unpack a little.
